Blank cells: not a standard combination, but often feasible as a custom order — please ask.

Cut Pile Tufted

Yarn is punched through the primary backing and the loops are cut open, giving a plush, soft surface with a velvety appearance.

Loop Pile Tufted

Loops are left intact, producing a dense, firm surface that resists crushing and shows footprints less than cut pile.

Cut & Loop Tufted

Cut and loop tufts are combined in one design to build geometric or tonal patterns with a light-and-shade effect.

Wilton Woven

A loom weaves the pile and backing together with a separate binder yarn, allowing up to five colours and sharp, intricate patterns.

Axminster Woven

Individual tufts are inserted into a pre-woven backing, so virtually unlimited colours and large-scale custom patterns are possible — the standard for hotel ballrooms.

Hand Tufted

Craftsmen shoot yarn through a stretched canvas with a hand tufting gun, then shear and carve the pile — ideal for low-volume custom designs.

Hand Knotted

Every knot is tied by hand on a vertical loom. The finest construction in the industry, measured in knots per square inch, and it lasts for decades.

Hand Woven Flatweave

Woven on a handloom with no pile — flat, reversible and light, which makes it easy to move and a natural fit for layered styling.

Digital Printed

Artwork is printed directly onto a white base with water-based inks, so photographic detail and unlimited colours are possible from one piece upward.

Rotary Screen Printed

Colour is pushed through a rotating cylindrical screen, giving high throughput and excellent colour penetration for long production runs.

Needle Punched

Barbed needles entangle fibres mechanically without any yarn spinning, producing a tough, fray-resistant felt that is ideal for entrance and industrial mats.

Shaggy / Long Pile

A very long pile, usually 20–60 mm, tufted loosely for a deep, sink-in feel. Popular in bedrooms and living rooms in the US and Korean markets.

Embossed / 3D Carved

A heated embossing roller presses a relief pattern into the pile, creating a 3D tile, damask or geometric effect without using extra colour.

Braided

Yarn or fabric strips are plaited into ropes and then coiled and stitched into an oval or round mat — a traditional craft still used for farmhouse-style doormats.
